Le Clubber Slot Review: Smokey's Rainbows

Le Clubber slot: base game

Le Clubber is a 6-reel, 5-row cluster slot by Hacksaw Gaming, and our Le Clubber slot review is built on automated, recorded sessions from 3 November 2026. The clearest finding: two of our three All That Glitters Is Gold buys paid more than their 250x price, making it the only way to play that finished ahead for us, in a tiny sample.

Our verdict

Le Clubber gives the Le series a genuinely layered collect mechanic: Super Cascade feeds Win to Win, and a single Rainbow can chain Coins, Clovers and looping Buckets of Gold into one big reveal. The bonus ladder is well built, though in our runs Luck of the Clubber felt like the poor relation while All That Glitters Is Gold, with squares that never clear, was where the payouts came from. The 10,000x cap is modest next to some of its siblings, and our sample is far too small to say more than how it went on the day.

Pros

  • Win to Win stacks Coins, Four-Leaf Clovers and looping Buckets of Gold, so one Rainbow can trigger several rounds of reveals.
  • A clear scatter ladder: 3, 4 and 5 FS map to three bonuses with escalating Marked Square persistence, and Luck of the Clubber can upgrade mid-round.
  • Four buy options, from BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ at 3x a spin to All That Glitters Is Gold at 250x.
  • The 10,000x max win is reachable in the base game as well as in every bonus.

Cons

  • The 10,000x cap is lower than the 15,000x listed for Le Vampire and Le Gift Grabber.
  • Marked Squares do nothing without a Rainbow, so many base-game wins leave squares that never pay.
  • Luck of the Clubber clears each square once activated and builds far less than All That Glitters Is Gold; none of our three buys reached its 100x price.
  • Treasure at the End of the Rainbow can't be bought and needs 5 FS symbols at the same time.

Highlights

  • The 10,000x max win can land in the base game and in all three bonus games, with studio odds of 1 in 14,000,000 rounds.
  • Gold Coins pay up to 500x the bet and Four-Leaf Clovers multiply adjacent Coins and Buckets of Gold by up to x10.
  • Our biggest single round came from BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ at 3x a spin: Luck of the Clubber at spin 32, paying 232x.
  • Only 22% of our 100 base-game spins won something, against the studio's stated hit frequency of 32.47%.

What we recorded on 3 November 2026

Every session was an automated, recorded run of the free demo with play money; the spin sessions ran on turbo with autoplay. We covered every way to play: 100 base-game spins at 1x, 100 BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ at 3x, 10 Rainbow FeatureSpins™ at 50x, then three buys each of Luck of the Clubber (100x) and All That Glitters Is Gold (250x).

Overall the spin sessions ran cold: none of the three paid back what was staked, and the only natural bonus came through BonusHunt. The pricier buy was the one that delivered, while none of the three Luck of the Clubber rounds got back to its price. A few hundred spins and three buys per bonus show how the game played for us, not what to expect; results swing a lot between sessions.

Base game, FeatureSpins and bonus buys compared

  • Base game (1x per spin): 100 spins paid back 64.7% with no bonus; the biggest hit was 30.5x at spin 76 and the longest run without a win was 9 spins.
  • BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ (3x per spin): each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a bonus game. Our 100 spins paid back 91.6% and produced one bonus (1 in 100 observed, a 90% range of roughly 1 in 448 to 1 in 23), with a longest dry run of 13 spins. That's about 300x staked per bonus in our sample, against 100x for the cheapest bonus buy; both figures come from small samples, not the game's maths.
  • Rainbow FeatureSpins™ (50x per spin): a Rainbow lands on every spin, so any win gets its Marked Squares activated straight away. 80% of our 10 spins won something, yet they paid back 48.5%, with a best of 67.3x at spin 9 and no bonus.
  • Luck of the Clubber (100x): three buys averaged 59.1x and together returned 59.1% of their cost.
  • All That Glitters Is Gold (250x): three buys averaged 355x, ranging from 135x to 492x, and together returned 142.1% of their cost.

The listed RTP is 96.28% for BonusHunt FeatureSpins™, 96.36% for Rainbow FeatureSpins™, 96.3% for Luck of the Clubber and 96.4% for All That Glitters Is Gold. Every sample here is tiny, with 0 or 1 bonus per spin session and three buys per bonus, so read these returns as what happened on 3 November 2026, not as a guide to any mode.

How does Le Clubber play?

Smokey Le Clubber owns the city's most exclusive nightclub, and the art leans right into it: a neon bar with backlit bottle shelves behind the grid, spotlights and a disco ball in the bonus intros, and Smokey himself, a moustachioed cartoon critter in a sequinned waistcoat with a champagne bottle in hand, scowling beside the reels. On our two smallest Luck of the Clubber totals he shouted 'MERDE!!'; on the big All That Glitters Is Gold screen he kept quiet.

The grid is 6 reels by 5 rows with cluster pays: 5 or more connecting symbols of the same kind anywhere on the grid win, the winners are removed, new symbols drop in, and that repeats until nothing new connects. Card ranks share the reels with heart-shaped sunglasses, VIP passes, drum pads, champagne bottles and disco balls, plus the Wild Party Wild and the FS scatter. The 10,000x cap applies across the base game and all three bonus games.

What separates it from a plain tumbler is the Win to Win layer. Every win paints Marked Squares behind the winning symbols, and those squares only pay once a Rainbow is on the grid. In the base game the squares and the Rainbow have to meet on the same spin; the three free-spins rounds are built around how long those squares survive, which is why they feel so different from one another.

Le Clubber features

Super Cascade

When a cluster wins, it isn't only the cluster that leaves: every regular paying symbol of that type is removed from the whole grid, and new symbols drop into the gaps. That clears far more space for follow-up clusters, and every follow-up win paints more Marked Squares.

Win to Win and Marked Squares

After any winning combination, the squares behind the winning symbols become Marked Squares. When activated, each reveals a Bronze, Silver or Gold Coin, with a chance of a Bucket of Gold or Four-Leaf Clover instead. At the end of the spin all Coins and Buckets of Gold are added together and multiplied by the bet.

The Rainbow symbol

The switch for the whole feature. A Rainbow activates every Marked Square once all wins on the spin have paid; without one, the squares reveal nothing. Rainbow FeatureSpins™ and Treasure at the End of the Rainbow put a Rainbow on every spin.

Bronze, Silver and Gold Coins

Cash prizes paid as a multiple of the bet. Bronze: 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x or 4x. Silver: 5x, 10x, 15x or 20x. Gold: 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x or 500x.

Four-Leaf Clover multipliers

Clovers fire after all Coins and special symbols are revealed, multiplying every Coin and Bucket of Gold on adjacent squares by x2, x3, x4, x5 or x10. A Clover tucked next to a Gold Coin or a loaded Bucket is the setup you're hoping for.

Bucket of Gold

Buckets activate after the Clovers, top-to-bottom and left-to-right. Each collects the values of all Coins and other Buckets of Gold and stores the total, so a later Bucket can scoop up an earlier one. Once the last Bucket has fired, the remaining Marked Squares activate again to reveal new symbols, and the loop repeats until no new Bucket of Gold appears.

Wild Party Wild

Shown as a 'Wild Party' poster on the reels, the Wild substitutes for all symbols in the paytable.

FS scatter symbols

Landing 3 or more FS symbols at the same time triggers a bonus game, and the count decides which: 3 for Luck of the Clubber, 4 for All That Glitters Is Gold, 5 for Treasure at the End of the Rainbow. Inside the bonuses they award extra free spins.

Le Clubber bonus games

How does the Luck of the Clubber bonus work?

Trigger: Land 3 FS scatter symbols at the same time in the base game, or buy it for 100x the bet.

You get 8 free spins, and Marked Squares stay highlighted between spins until a Rainbow activates them, after which they clear. So squares bank up across dry spins and wait for the next Rainbow to cash them. Landing 2 FS at the same time awards +2 free spins and 3 FS awards +4. Landing 4 FS at once upgrades the round to All That Glitters Is Gold and adds +4 free spins.

In our tests

Our three buys paid 80.9x over 8 free spins (top multiplier x2), 53.6x over 14 free spins after extra spins landed, and 42.7x over 8 free spins. The best Luck of the Clubber of the day was the natural trigger at spin 32 of our BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ session, which paid 232x.

All That Glitters Is Gold explained

Trigger: Land 4 FS scatter symbols at the same time in the base game, upgrade from Luck of the Clubber with 4 FS, or buy it for 250x the bet.

12 free spins in which Marked Squares stay highlighted for the whole bonus, even after a Rainbow activates them. Every square you paint keeps getting re-activated by each later Rainbow, so the grid snowballs as the round goes on. Landing 2 FS at the same time awards +2 free spins and 3 FS awards +4.

In our tests

Buy #1 paid 439x over 16 free spins with a top multiplier of x3. Buy #2 paid 492x over 12 free spins, topping out at x5. Buy #3 ran longest at 18 free spins but paid the least, 135x with a top multiplier of x3, a reminder that extra spins don't count for much without the right Clover and Bucket placements.

Treasure at the End of the Rainbow: the hidden epic bonus

Trigger: Land 5 FS scatter symbols at the same time in the base game. It is not on the buy menu.

The studio calls it the Hidden Epic Bonus: 12 free spins where Marked Squares stay highlighted for the whole bonus, a Rainbow lands on every spin, and Bronze Coins are removed, so every Coin revealed is Silver or Gold. It combines the persistent squares of All That Glitters Is Gold with an activation every single spin.

Who is Le Clubber for?

Hacksaw regulars who enjoy collect-and-multiply mechanics will get the most out of it: the Rainbow, Clover and Bucket of Gold sequence rewards watching every reveal, and the bonus ladder from 3 to 5 scatters gives the base game something to chase. Buy-menu players get a real spread of price points, from 3x a spin on BonusHunt FeatureSpins™ up to 250x for All That Glitters Is Gold.

If the cap is what draws you, the Le series has bigger ones on paper: Le Vampire shares the same volatility 3 rating but lists a 15,000x max win, as does Le Gift Grabber, while Le Santa Hold & Win sits at 2,500x. Base-game grinders should note how flat our 100 spins were. Like any slot it carries a built-in house edge, so the 250x buy in particular only makes sense as entertainment money you're comfortable losing.
